Halong Bay on Boat and Cat Ba Island 3 days

Situated in the Tonkin Golf, Halong bay is one of the world’s natural wonders - a bay with more than 3,000 islands, which time, wind and waves have sculpted into fantastic shapes. The best way to appreciate this magical scene is from a boat, cruising between these karst cliffs, which loom like fairytale castles, complete with rocky spires and hidden caves. The bay is dotted with tiny islands, pristine sandbanks on the turquoise water providing an excellent backdrop for swimming or just lazing about on the boat deck.

Day 1: Hanoi - Halong Bay overnight on boat (L,D)

8:30 a.m. pick-up at your hotel. We drive through the Red River Delta to Ha Long City.

Our journey will be shortened with a refreshment and morning coffee.

Upon arriving in Halong City we transfer to our boat for a cruise of the crystalline emerald waters of Halong Bay, giving us the chance to take in the stunning scenery of this UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site.

While on board we will have a sumptuous fresh, local seafood lunch followed by a swim (in the summer only) and the opportunity to explore the most beautiful limestone cave Sung Sot (Surprises Grottoes)

We enjoy the sunset over the bay from Titop Island or from the deck of our junk boat.

Tonight we overnight on boat in Halong Bay. That should be unforgettable experiences.

Day 2: Halong Bay - Cat Ba Island (B,L,D)

Rising to the absolute tranquiityl of Halong Bay for breakfast and a new day, we cruise further to Cat Ba Island.

Check-in hotel and we have whole day to explore the island and Cat Ba National Park by mountain bike.

Night in Prince hotel on Cat Ba island.

Day 3: Cat Ba island- Haiphong - Hanoi (B)

We will spend the morning free at leisure, before boarding a local ferry for our trip to the port city of Hai Phong. Here we transfer to our vehicle for a 2-hour journey back to Hanoi.
